Description of The Work :

Undertaking the complete engineering services including preparation of  a feasibility study, conceptual design, international tender documents in accordance with FIDIC procedures, technical specifications, assistance to the Employer for bidding and bid evaluation for the main transmission line of DN1500 mm steel pipe  19,4 km in length, potable water treatment plant with the capacity of 172.800 m3/day (first stage), main supply lines in various diameter steel pipes 19 km in length and seven storage tanks (total volume : 51 000 m3/day) for the requirement of Erzurum city in the years 2015 and 2025 and supervision of the construction in accordance with FIDIC Regulations.

At the end of Consultancy and Supervision Services Contract (12/2005), 57% of the construction works was completed by the Contractor. The Construction Supervision Services for the remaining works have been tendered in 2007 in accordance with the Turkish Procurement Law.

Capacity: 

Water treated in the treatment plant will be transmitted to reservoirs through main feeding lines of steel pipes with various diameters (Ø 150 mm to Ø 1200 mm) and a length of 19.375 m in total. The distribution network will be supplied from reservoirs.

In the first stage, construction of 7 reservoirs (total 51,000 m3) with capacities from 1,000 m3 to 20,000 m3 is planned for the demand of 2015.  One 2,500 m3 reservoir will be added in the second stage to meet the demand of 2025.
