Master Plan, Feasibility Projects and EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Reports
Full consultancy services including the following items:
1) Preparation of Master Plan for supplying water from Volta River in Ghana by means of river intake, transmitting raw water to the location of treatment plant, transmission of potable water to city of Sogakope and clusters in Ghana as well as supplying potable water for Lome, capital of Togo.
2) Preparation Technical and Financial Feasibility Report for the Water Supply Project, for different implementation scenarios and selection the best financial alternative. The Project comprises the following components:
A- Raw Water Intake with capacity of 400.000 m3/day, including Trapezoidal intake channel and Raw water Pumping Station;
B- Water Treatment Plant with capacity of 400.000 m3/day, including Isolation and By-Pass Valve Chamber, Raw Water Flowmeter Chamber, Cascade Aeration, Rapid Mixing Tanks integrated with Slow Mixing Tanks and Lamella Clarifiers, Rapid Sand Filters and Filter Backwashing Tank, Chlorine Contact Tank, Chemical building, Administration Building, Workshop and Storage Building, Transformer and Generator Building, Guard House, Treated Water reservoir and Potable water Pumping Station;.
C- Preliminary design and hydraulic calculations for Raw and Potable Water Transmission Pipelines from Raw Water Intake to Water Treatment Plant and to Lome with total length of pipelines 169,1 Km (2 parallel pipes, each one with length of 84,55 Km) with diameters of 1400 mm and 1600 mm GRP pipes;
D- Three main reservoirs: Treated Water reservoir with capacity of 40.000 m3 at location of Water Treatment Plant, Intermediate Reservoir with capacity of 40.000 m3 at location of Akatsi and Potable Water reservoir with capacity of 80.000 m3 in Lome;
E- HFO Diesel Engine Power Plant (2+1), each one with electrical power production of 5 MW;
F- Preparation of Feasibility study including Financial Analysis, Cost Estimate including Capital Cost and Operation & Maintenance Costs for different components of the project, Financial Analysis of the costs for period of 25 years for 2 base alternatives and calculation of NPV for each alternative, Billing Revenues forecast, Financial Analysis for different Credit Conditions required for implementation of the project, Preparation of Financial Model and calculation of Cash Flow for each alternative, Sensitivity and Risk Analysis, Economic and Socio-Economic Analyses and introductions of baselines.
