Project: Samsun 19 Mayis Sewerage Network and Wastewater Treatment Plant and Deep Sea Outfall Preliminary Design

Description of The Work :

The project covers preparation of the preliminary designs of sewerage network and treatment systems of Samsun “19 Mayıs” Town.

Plants will serve 65,000 people according to the population projections. The sewerage system covers the network and collector with a total length of 172 km. Wastewater biological treatment works consist of stabilization ponds and facultative aeration ponds. Length of the deep-sea outfall is 2,000 m.

The preliminary study report of the project was prepared, design criteria were defined, and the studies needed to establish an optimum sewerage system were carried out by considering the development plans and population distributions. Site studies were carried out upon approval of the first Study Report, and the preliminary designs of sewerage network and collector system and the biological treatment works and the deep-sea outfall.
