Wastewater Treatment Plants
In order to meet the standards, advanced treatment technologies are used and nutrient removal is achieved.
The wastewater treatment plant briefly consists of inlet and by-pass unit, screens, sewage pumping station, aerated grit chambers, flowmeter chambers, anaerobic tank for phosphorus removal, aeration tanks (nitrification + denitrification), final sedimentation tanks, UV disinfection unit, RAS and WAS pumping station, sludge storage tank, sludge dewatering building (centrifugal decanters), administration building, blower building, transformer station, workshop, guard building and other auxiliary structures.
Wastewater Treatment Plant is designed in accordance with the design criteria and calculation methods of German ATV-DVWK Standards.

The wastewater treatment plant has been designed in two stages to biologically treat the domestic wastewater until the target year 2015 in the first stage and until 2035 in the second.
