Description of The Work :

Kadirli  is a town and district of Osmaniye Province in the Mediterranean region of Turkey .The source of water for Kadirli is supplied from Kalealtı which is almost 22 km far from the city. The high amount of turbidity in source of Kalealtı was the major reason for implementation of the new water treatment plant in the area.

This project consists of: Design of the treatment plant having a capacity of 35.000 m3/day, including cascade aeration tank, flocculation tank,  coagulation tank, clarifiers, rapid sand filter, chlorine contact tank, filter backwashing tank, outlet pumping station, sludge thickening tank, backwash water holding tank, chemistry building, chlorine building, sludge chamber, sludge dewatering building, return sludge pumping station,  control and laboratory building, transformer and generator building, guard house, scum pumping station and necessary distribution chambers.

Adding to the existing source of water from Katealtı, in order to supply remained part of water demand in year 2050 for projected population of 250.875 residents in this city, flow rate of 202 L/sec. should be transmitted from the new source of water, known as Balıklıağa, located in north west of Kadirli. The high quality of water in Balıklıağa can be transmitted to the main city water reservoirs without any treatment; from where to be distributed in the water network after being disinfected by chlorine. The Ductile Iron water transmission pipelines with total length of 18,5 km and diamter of 600 mm will transmit the flow rate of 202 L/sec. to the main water reservoirs of the city by gravity. Also structural design of 7500 m3 water reservoir is in the scope of the work.

Design includes all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical (including SCADA) drawings and calculations.

Services:

  • Preparation Primary Report, detailed design of water transmission pipelines including plan-profile and details f pipes, valves and thrust blocks.
  • Preparation of functional, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, SCADA and landscaping, application and detailed design for the treatment plant.
  • Preparation of BoQ for all the equipment, instruments, mechanical and electrical materials.
  • Preparation of technical specification of water treatment plant.
