Description of The Work :

Faisalabad is the third-most-populous and the second largest city in eastern province of Punjab.

Water treatment plants designed as one stage. For Faisalabad Water Treatment Plant:

Design flow:          90.000 m3/day

Water treatment plants briefly consist of cascade aeration units, rapid mixing and flocculation tanks, sludge blanket clarifiers, rapid sand filters, backwash water storage tanks, treated water storage tanks, belt filter buildings, sludge thickeners, chemical buildings, chlorine buildings, workshop buildings, administration and laboratory buildings, operator and engineer houses, guard houses and other auxiliary structures.

Adding to the preparation of BoQ and calculation of total project cost, a Financial Feasibility Study also were carried out considering all the capital and operational costs of the project as well as loan conditions for implementation of the treatment plants in the framework of PPP. Within the scope of Feasibility Study, the cost of one cubic meter of treated water has been calculated and risk analysis has been carried out.

First Stage:

  • Preparation of Feasibility Study,
  • Preparation of preliminary design of water treatment plants,
  • Preparation of technical specifications,
  • Preparation of BOQ and cost estimations for Construction tender.

Second Stage:

  • Preparation of detailed design including Architectural, Structural, Mechanical drawings for all components of the project as well as landscape, surrounding wall and auxiliary buildings;
  • Preparation of Mechanical Technical Specifications and detailed bill of quantities;
