Water Treatment Plants
Foça is located in west of Turkey near the city of Izmir. The source of water for Foça and Yenifoça is ground water which is collected from 21 numbers of wells in Gerenköy area which is almost 5 km far from the city. The high amount of Arsenic and other chemical components in source of ground water was the major reason for implementation of the new water treatment plant in the area.
This project consists of: Design of the treatment plant having a capacity of 30.000 m3/day, including raw water storage tank, flowmeter chamber, cascade aeration tank, pre-ozonation contact tank, flocculation tank, coagulation tank, clarifiers, rapid sand filter, chlorine contact tank, filter backwashing tank, treated water tank (10.000 m3), outlet pumping station, sludge thickening tank, backwash water holding tank, chemistry building, chlorine building, pre-ozonation generator building, sludge chamber, sludge
dewatering building, return sludge pumping station, intermediate lifting station, post ozonation contact tank, post ozonation generator building, granular active carbon filters, granular active carbon filter backwashing tank, control and laboratory building, transformer and generator building, workshop building, guest house, guard house, scum pumping station, weighbridge control building and necessary distribution chambers.
Design includes all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical (including SCADA) drawings and calculations.
Services:
- Preparation of functional, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, SCADA and landscaping, application and detailed design for the treatment plant.
- Preparation of BoQ for all the equipment, instruments, mechanical and electrical materials.
- Preparation of technical specification of water treatment plant.
